Triphasics paintings Sérgio Prata is the creator of the 3 phases paintings, a new procedure of painting. The artist works in the darkness and under ultraviolet lights, at night. His paintings can be seen at different lights, so each canvas has 3 different works on it.
In October 1996, Sérgio Prata coalesced emulsified beeswax and phosphorescent pigments and created a new spot, very robust, which allowed him to paint in total darkness, the face of the Holy Shroud, on the back of the Pantocrator, the apse of the church Santa Terezinha in Bragança Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the same time, Prata worked on 2 phases paintings, and his show at a Curitiba Art Gallery was succesfull. THE

In the darkness,
you can see a different painting. At Saint
Sebastian canvas, we can see Irene, and a nude, in different
lights. It was one of my first 3 phases canvas.

When you turn on the ultraviolet lights, you can see the Mary´s Assomption, and some ultraviolet angels, that are invisible at day´s light.
At the Univap Chapel, when you turn on the ultraviolet lights in the darkness, you can see some music angels.
